Update: The season draws to a close

Last Friday really was a 'last Friday' at the the Pinelands Hockey Club as the annual Friday Night Lights coaching initiative drew to a close. Though a bit sad that the season is over, celebrations were in order as this time round 461 children had received personal hockey training under the
floodlights. Coaches and parents all blossomed with pride as the little athletes claimed their prizes, basking in the glory of the past months' hard work and bruised shins.

Through this initiative parents have seen their children grow from tearful hockey stick fearing squirts to confident young team players. Lindsay Dawes commented that her niece "absolutely loved the hockey on Friday" while Euguene Manoek believes that it's thanks to these Friday evening training sessions that his daughter Chelsea made it through to the zonal trials.

As one of the sponsors of this hockey skills development clinic, Wilde Fruit Juice is proud to have stood side-by-side with parents and coaches, watching every fledgeling grow over the past season. Friendship were made, skills were honed and many liters of Wilde were shared with a smile. Looking forward to the next!
