The Pinelands Hockey Club skills development initiative, Friday Night Lights, recently welcomed Lee Ibie, the Wales International Goalkeeper and 1st Team Mens Coach.Lee Ibie was joined by a team of renowned professional goalkeepers to give the aspiring goalies some expert training to help improve their game. Seven goalkeepers, between the ages of 10 and 13 from local and surrounding schools, were put through their paces with a series of serious drills to focus on the main aspects of goalkeeping.
The inspiring training session will hopefully assist our aspiring young goalkeepers to wear the Green and Gold one day. In fact, they looked so motivated, that we wouldn't put it past them.
