Natural talent has no substitute

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice is a proud sponsor of cyclist, Reniell Mattysen. After a brief absence, Reniell returned to the indoor cycling arena with a bang. Reniell competed against indoor series leaders, but impressively, came second in the qualifying race. This seemed to be Reniell warming up, as he later took first place in the final race. A spectator commented on Reniell Matthysen's comeback, saying, "Natural talent has no substitute." Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice is proud to fuel such local talent.

It worked before. Let's do it again, but better.

As the previous Sunday Times Food Show was a great success, the 2008 Food Show was much anticipated - with greater expectations than ever before. "Going bigger and better" was the main reasons for the excitement behind planning the 2008 Food Show which took place between 3 and 6 July at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The Food Show sported the best of local and international celebrity chefs and food personalities. A promotional campaign that featured two A-list BBC celebrity chefs, was ran with maximum exposure through access to top media channels.

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice didn't need any introduction, as most consumers were already familiar with the pure pressed goodness that the juice offers. Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice was passionately promoted by two ladies from Uptown Promotions. They informed the consumers that drinking Wilde's pure pressed fruit juice is the next best think to eating fresh fruit - which reassured the consumers that Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice is not just tasty, but beneficial too.

Sir Thomas Lipton would be smiling

This year, the Royal Cape Yacht Club is celebrating their 100th anniversary of the Lipton Challenge Cup. History has it that Sir Thomas Lipton presented the shiny, silver Lipton Cup to the Table Bay Yacht Club in 1909. This yacht club later became the Royal Yacht Club, and with a bit of heritage behind it, this annual Lipton Challenge has become a renowned, prestigious event - this year boasting with 31 entries.

The event will take place from the 22nd to the 29th of August at the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Cape Town. Each yacht club may enter a single unit, and the Wilde Fruit Juice Crew will be representing the Gordon's Bay Yacht Club at this year's Lipton Challenge Cup.

Club Newlands three day rugby clinic

Wilde Fruit Juice was one of the sponsors at the Newlands Rugby Clinic held during the June/July school holidays. This clinic was run over three days but the skills taught, friendships formed and memories made will last forever. The WP Coaches Education Department supplied the clinic with an excellent group of coaches. They were terrific in teaching the boys the basic rugby skills - forming a solid foundation for the little rugby players to aid their future encounters with the sport.

After an eventful, yet exhausting three days, each boy received a well kitted goodie bag, consisting of a Club Newlands Gift Card and signed merchandise like photo's, stickers and posters of the Vodacom WP Team. Wilde Fruit Juice supplied the future rugby stars with pure pressed juice over the three days, and are proud to have been part of this initiative.

If your son is a thirteen year old, die-hard Vodacom WP fan and would love to join the Newlands Junior Club, visit the website here, to sign up for membership.

Running for the hills.

Wilde Fruit Juice is the proud sponsor of the Bainskloof Ultra Marathon 2008, which will be held on Heritage Day, the 24th of September. Heritage Day is a celebration in which South Africans recognise aspects of our country's unique culture: creative expression, history and the languages we speak.

The SAD Safari Half Marathon was started 21 years ago in Wellington and have grown to one of the most popular races in the country. The same team that started this race, now brings you the Bainskloof Ultra and Half Marathon.

The route will take the runners through the Lemietberg Nature Reserve which is surrounded by Bainskloof's breathtaking scenery, and brings a delight to any nature lover with a pair of sneakers.

Wilde Fruit Juice invites you to partake in the only Ultra Marathon in the Boland on the oldest pass in the land. You won't be disappointed, and besides, you'll help sustain this natural heritage. So run along now, and enter.
