The next First Ascent/Daisyway camp will be held from 16 to 18 July 2010 in the luscious Grabouw Area. The training puts riders through the paces of a multi-day event, so that they can be get an idea of the necessary training requirements and tactics needed to compete in large-scale races.
The 16 to 18 July 2010 training schedule aims to cover +-70 km per day for the Intermediate to Advanced groups, while focussing on their general technique and skill. There are also plans to start a Novice group, but the camp will need more than five riders doing +-30 km per day.
