Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice was one of the sponsors at the Club Newlands Rugby Clinic held during the June/July school holidays. This clinic was run over three days but the skills taught, friendships formed and memories made will last forever.

Due to last year's great success, 2009 saw two clinics during these past holidays - this way, both the Northern and Southern Suburbs could join in the action of the three day event. During the clinics, lots of attention is paid to the development of various rugby skills, from footwork to correct tackling techniques and even kicking skills.

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice sponsored some refreshing 200 ml fruit juices to the little rugby enthusiasts attending these exciting Club Newlands Rugby Clinics.

Wear your adventure boots this October

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice, together with Citrusdal Tourism is hosting another outdoor weekend from 3 to 4 October 2009 in the juicy valleys of Citrusdal. This promises to be an action packed weekend for the outdoor enthusiast who owns a 2x4, 4x4, quad bike or motorbike.

Citrusdal is a paradise set amongst green citrus orchards - serving as a luscious gateway to the Cederberg. It's a place where flowers, oranges and fresh air reign, thus creating a tranquil getaway for people who feel stuck in the city.

The weekend offers like-minded enthusiasts two care free days of relaxing drives and challenging routes in breathtaking surroundings, with a make-yourself-at-home atmosphere for good measure.

The farming community will provide eight routes, which will be open to participants for the weekend. Each route has its own intensity level, because the weekend is there to cater for all outdoor lovers - from the extreme people who want to test themselves and their vehicles, to the more laid back "Sunday drivers" who just want to drive for the love of scenic landscapes and the great outdoors.

The owners will accompany the participants en route, to provide the groups with directions and interesting facts about the area - some of the routes will focus on agriculture and the indigenous fauna and flora of the surroundings.

The Yamaha Boschkloof Fun Ride on Saturday 3 October for motor bikes and quad bikes, will take participants through fragrant citrus orchards, over mountain streams and between sandstone rock formations - this promises to be one great family outing! Come and enjoy the weekend in the crisp, clean mountain air, with lots of events and delicious Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice!

Strolling at ease, while looking at cheese

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice was involved with the renowned South African Cheese Festival 2009. This SA Cheese Festival has received numerous awards in the past, like the coveted EXSA 2007 award for the most sought after culinary event of the year. Within it's eighth year running, the SA Cheese Festival has seen over 165 000 visitors: all embarking on a taste adventure for new and innovative cheeses, with the hopes of discovering new worlds of cheese to take home with them.

The 2009 edition of The SA Cheese Festival took place over the long weekend, from the 24th to the 27th of April 2009 at the Bien Donné Estate. This year's Wilde Kiddies Corner had its own Kiddies Snack Food Lane, so no tummies were left rumbling. The Wilde Kids Corner sported inflatable play stations, face painting, colouring competitions, jumping castles and clowns - in full costume! This bought the parents some time to venture around the many stalls and exhibits that the Cheese Festival had to offer.

Among these stalls, stood Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice. Loud and proud, they educated people about the pure pressed goodness found in each specially packaged Wilde product. Wilde Fruit Juice was on promotion, thus many happy customers took advantage of the fantastic price that Wilde was going for. It was a memorable weekend in the Paarl-area, with good food, good wine and good people coming together in celebration of cheese.

It's all good

Wilde Pure Pressed and Squeezed Fruit Juice is participating in the Good Food & Wine Show from the 28th to the 31st of May 2009. This Show is all about good food and good wine, and also promises a good time for all gourmets and gourmands!

The 2009 Show will be quite something, as Swiss International Airlines are flying in leading BBC celebrity chefs to join our country's finest chefs in the kitchen - nine modern kitchen-theatres will host various speciality shows during the Good Food & Wine Show 2009. The event aims to bring the latest global trends and tastes right to your plate! The Wilde-stand will be among the many extraordinary exhibits at the show. Swing by, we hope to see you there!
